What is a session like?
Each session comes with a 15-minute consultation call. We’ll discuss a few things on this call - your family, the why in getting photos taken, the feeling you want to get out of these image, ec. I’ll also run through session details and answer any questions.
After our call, I’ll send you my session prep packet filled with all of the details you need to know regarding outfits, styling, and getting over the fear of having your photo taken.
We’ll do the shoot then you’ll get your gallery back in 3-4 weeks.
Sessions are fun and relaxed, but fast-paced. Portrait sessions have a very stressful stigma attached to them - it’s the number one reason I hear why people don’t invest in getting their photograph taken. But…
We’ll always do some warm-up shots, and then ease into a session where we’ll laugh, run, play and generally have a good time.

Family sessions typically place outside at a local park, beach or even on Bear Mountain. After booking, we’ll have a chat about the details, you’ll get my style guide, and we’ll stay in touch.
Our session will last about 45 min, and will take place within 2 hours of sunrise or sunset.
After your session, you’ll receive a full gallery of at least 30 images for you to download and keep. My clients typically make print purchases as well, and I am happy to consultant on what would look best in your space.

Maternity sessions typically place outside or at a place that might be special to you. After booking, we’ll have a chat about the details, you’ll get my style guide, and we’ll stay in touch.
Maternity photos - whether it’s your first or your fourth - commemorate a special time and a new beginning for your family.
Our session will last about 45 min, and will take place within 2 hours of sunrise or sunset. After your session, you’ll receive a full gallery of at least 30 images for you to download and keep.

All of my newborn sessions take place in your home. This is for a couple of reasons:
1. You have everything you need at our fingertips
2. Getting ready and out the door can be tough in those early weeks. You can even get ready while I take photos of your little one on their own.
3. Less stress on you, the parents
My style of newborn photos is more in line with lifestyle images. You will not see highly airbrushed babies or newborns swaddled and tucked into baskets. I love those images, and if that’s what you are looking for I can certainly point you to a great photographer. My images will help remind you of what this special time is truly like.
